Prayer hour
The prayer hour has a very long tradition in MBG Weingarten. The meetings encourage to trust in God in prayer.
If two of you agree on earth about any matter for which they want to ask, it shall be granted to them by my Father in heaven.
Matthew 18, 19
Jesus urges his disciples to pray constantly. He wants us to come to Him with all our intentions and entrust them to Him in prayer. He gladly listens to the prayers of his children and likes to help.
Procedure of a prayer session
First we listen to a short message and sing a song together. Afterwards, everyone may present their intercessions and thanksgivings to the congregation. Afterwards, the intentions presented are brought before God together. Praising God together for answered prayers encourages us on our life’s journey in the turbulent everyday life.
… and pray for each other so that you may be healed! The prayer of a righteous man can do much if it is earnest.
James 5, 16
