A BRIDGE TO GOD
Tent days in forest bridge
After the end of the war, displaced persons from Transylvania came to Weingarten.
They were given the opportunity to build a new settlement in the forest near Weingarten.
This is how the new Weingarten district of “Waldbrücke” was created between 1949 and 1952.
This beautiful place name inspired us to choose the motto for the tent days: A bridge to God.
Why do we need a bridge to God?
Through sin, every human being is separated from God.
Because good and evil do not go together, a gulf has arisen between us and God.
Almost 2000 years ago, Jesus died on the cross and thus built the bridge between God and us.
This is the best news of all time.
This message, the gospel, is explained in more detail in the tent services.
We cordially invite you to the tent services from Tuesday to Sunday in the large tent: From Wednesday to Saturday we offer a varied children’s program in the afternoon.
We look forward to seeing you – whether you come from the beautiful Waldbrücke district, from Weingarten or from the surrounding area.
We would like to welcome you personally in the tent!
The tent is located in Waldbrücke opposite the riding club.

Speaker Michael Putzi
With good prospects for a career in sport, he experienced an eventful youth. Due to excessive alcohol consumption, his childhood dream of becoming a professional ice hockey player was already over by the age of 20.
In the years that followed, Michael tried to fill his inner emptiness with parties, relationships and other things – but to no avail! At the age of 29, he was finished. After an arrest, Michael consciously searched for the meaning of life.
What happened next changed Michael’s life in a wonderful way.
Today, Michael Putzi lives with his family in the canton of Aargau (CH).
As a preacher, he proclaims the Good News of Jesus Christ.
